The hotel was fine for our two night stay in Naples. I can't say I loved Naples but that isn't the fault of the hotel. We only had one full day and decided to go to visit the Pompeii ruins rather than spend the whole day in Naples. We managed to easily get a tourist bus. The hotel staff were very helpful, especially one of the guys on reception who spoke amazing English and who let us leave our cases for a couple of hours after checking out, before we got the ferry to Capri. I really enjoyed the breakfast at this hotel which is on the sixth floor. There are a few outside tables and it was lovely to look out over the city. The waiting staff at breakfast were very friendly and made me a decaff coffee. One morning we stuck to the continental breakfast; pastries, cake, bread and jam etc, and on the second day we ordered omelettes which were lovely. The only drawback for me was that it was quite noisy at night with all the beeping horns but I think you would probably find that anywhere in Naples. I was hoping for a balcony but we didn't really have one, only a window with a tiny ledge that overlooked the road. Still, it was all perfectly adequate for a short stay: toiletries in the bathroom, wardrobe, kettle etc. I didn't see an iron but maybe I didn't look hard enough. The staff were very friendly and approachable and were on reception 24 hours. I felt perfectly safe in this hotel and would use it again for a short stopover in Naples.

The hotel is a very European style hotel. It offered everything you would expect of a hotel for tourists or business people. We had paid for a standard room which was small as expected of a European hotel, but it had everything you needed for a pleasant stay - and still very manageable for two adults. The room had internet access (very fast), a TV (we never used as we were in Naples to be outside having fun!), a bathroom with all the amenities needed, a wardrobe closet, and AC/Heater (we didn't use). We stayed there for 6 nights and didn't have any issues whatsoever. They gave us a room with access to a small inner patio/courtyard, which was very nice for us, and we used it even though it was December. It allowed us to open the double doors and let plenty of fresh air into the room. Overall, our room was very quiet. Since the hotel is next to a small church, we heard the 6.00pm mass every day complete with organ music and singing, a unique touch for us. We also want to recognize the reception staff who were very helpful when we asked for restaurant recommendations, e.g., or when we wanted to confirm the best way to go to various sites. They also helped in booking taxis. Thank you for being so friendly and accommodating.

Palazzo Turchini Hotel is in a fantastic position, very central and on a main road so picking up buses for trips was super easy and easy walking access to both the port/marina, old town and shopping. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful both on the front desk and especially Martina and Evelina at breakfast who made sure we were well looked after. There is a superb, buzzing bar, Barrio Botanico, right next door for pre-dinner drinks which was a nightly visit for us before finding a restaurant. As far as food was concerned all the restaurants we ate at were great, La Cantina dei Lazari, Pizzaria Trattoria Medina, Osteria da Antonio, Trattoria Castel Nuova, Pizzeria D'Autore and Insolito to name a few, you can’t go far wrong with Italian cuisine though.

The hotels location is perfect especially if you’re getting the ferry from Sorrento, the check in guy was brilliant he took a long time showing us maps of Naples where he recommended places to visit and where to eat. The hotel is very clean and the room and bathroom spotless. The room was a good size and was quiet, there was no noise from other guests or rooms. The view wasn’t great as we looked into a courtyard it was quite dark but we were not spending any real time in the room so it didn’t matter. The breakfast the next morning was great with a nice selection of food with friendly servers. It was also great value for money, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel with a great location, helpful staff and a clean nice room!

The staff here is incredible! They are super professional, polite, and friendly! The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location. When we checked in, the gentleman at the front desk gave us a map and marked off all the places we could (and should) walk to! The breakfast that is included is wonderful! So many options and a beautiful display, with the option to sit outside on the balcony and see everything around you. Then when we had to check out, at 3:20 in the morning, the gentleman working the desk made sure we had a cab to get us to the airport, made us each an espresso and gave us a bottle of water, and then made sure we got into our cab safely. I would 100% stay here again. We absolutely loved our stay!
